Morgan Marietta teaches American politics and political psychology at the University of Massachusetts Lowell.

He is the author of A Citizen's Guide to American Ideology: Conservatism and Liberalism in Contemporary Politics (2011, Routledge Press), The Politics of Sacred Rhetoric: Absolutist Appeals and Political Persuasion (2012, Baylor University Press), and A Citizen's Guide to the Constitution and the Supreme Court: Constitutional Conflict in American Politics (2013, Routledge Press). He and Bert Rockman from Purdue University are the series editors of the Citizen Guides To Politics & Public Affairs, a new collection of volumes dedicated to explaining the core issues and institutions of American politics. His current book project is One Nation, Two Realities: Dueling Facts in American Democracy.
